Just because it says "lipstick, blush, face oil or facial mist", doesn't mean that it cannot be used for something not labeled on the bottle.
My name is Sharonda, I’m a Pro Beauty Informant but in a matter of words, I’m a Cosmetologist, Makeup Artist, Barber, Writer, and Marketer.
My passion for beauty dates back to being a teenager. I have alwaysloved both skincare and makeup but more specifically skincare. I love products that I can get more than one use out of which is why I have learned that just because it says ”lipstick, blush, face oil or facial mist”, doesn’t mean that it cannot be used for something not labeled on the bottle. It’s simply marketing and I should know because I work in marketing for cosmetics.
My approach to daily skin care is simplified but detailed. On day-to-day basis, I wash, tone, add a serum which is normally a face oi like rosehip, argan, or jojoba, followed by a moisturizer and SPF. I enjoy no filter, meaning no hidden ingredients full of alcohol or chemicals - it’s too much on my skin on a daily basis which is why I stick with oils, water mists/refreshers, and ingredients found in nature.
On the weekends I do 2 things: treat my skin to sessions of microdermabrasion, masks, peels, and derma rollers and wear makeup - lots of makeup including faux lashes, tons of highlighter and liquid lipstick and I love it because it’s part of my job Beauty Market Influencer. The cake and bake of makeup is great, however, at the end of the day, I enjoy taking it off equally if not more than I enjoyed putting it on.
I know that one day Father Time and Mother Nature will give away my age, but it is due to the conscious ingredients I seek out in my skincare products I will be able to remain vibrant and youthful with and without the makeup. Besides, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I am the beholder.
